At the time of writing, Loft Insulation Calc carries no affiliate links and no advertising. Nobody pays us to mention a product, a brand or a store.
How this may change
Running the site costs money, and we want to keep it free. To help cover those costs, some links on the site may become affiliate links in the future. These could include programs such as Amazon Associates or affiliate programs run by home improvement retailers.
If and when we add affiliate links:
- If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the seller.
- The commission comes at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would otherwise.
- We'll label affiliate links clearly, close to the link itself, so you know before you click.

What affiliate links will never change
- The calculations. Targets, depths, quantities and costs come from the published sources and formulas in our methodology. No retailer or manufacturer can change them, and a product's results don't depend on whether we earn anything from it.
- Which products appear. The calculator includes products because their manufacturers publish the coverage charts and data sheets we need, not because of any commercial relationship.
- Our advice. Safety notes, code reminders and tips are written to help you do the job right.
